A video of children hanging upside down after a malfunction on a ride at an amusement park has gone viral on social media. The mother panicked after her children had been suspended in the air for 15 minutes.

Ally Metzger and her children were at the Arkansas State Fair and had taken her 8- and 11-year-old children to the X-Drive attraction, a ride that spins people while they are in the air.

The ride stopped in the air with Metzger’s children upside down. “They’re trying to get my kids out of there; they’ve been stuck upside down for at least 15 minutes,” she said in the video as staff attempted to manually spin the ride.

After a while, the staff managed to get Metzger’s children out of the ride. She reported that the children only remembered crying a lot and having sore legs. It’s unclear if the other children who were stuck suffered any injuries.

“After all that was spent to get into this place? I want my refund,” Metzger wrote on Facebook, noting she only received a “cute” complaint from the park’s organization.

“Calm down, it’s only been four and a half minutes, and you’re making things worse,” the complaint read.
